Art Explorers

This course is specialised for young creative kids to explore art mediums, techniques and tools in a safe and fun environment.  

Artists this age constantly ask me in my art lessons "Why can't I do what what I want?" This is because they simply haven't had enough experience with structured lessons in the school environment yet and lets face it...art materials are just so colourful, inviting and fun, who wouldn't want to explore?! Well now you can!  

Each week students will have the opportunity to explore mini art stations and guided projects introducing them to different art materials and techniques in visual arts. Art explorers will have the freedom to create their own artworks and put their own spin on things should the inspiration given, prompt a train of creativity.  The benefits of art at this age are enormous!  

Art Explorers will not only have the opportunity to develop their art skills but also: * Develop their fine motor skills. 

* Develop their creative and imaginative brains; stimulating whole brain thinking. * Gain a sense of independence, confidence and achievement. 

* Expand social skills and meet new friends. 

* Help to get them school ready. AND SO MUCH MORE!!  

Class sizes are kept small so children get the most out of the experience. 

All materials are included and are non toxic. It is encouraged that students wear old clothes and sensible shoes. 

Parents don't need to stay, we have it covered. Leanne is childcare and first-aid trained, working with children and police checks completed.  Art Explorers is a term course over 8 weeks.
