Art Essentials
Essential skills for Your Budding Artist!
Your child will learn a wide range of art making skills including: drawing, painting, collage and sculpture as well as the elements and principles of art and design.
We provide a fun and creative space to learn and experiment with different art mediums including charcoal, pencil, oil pastels, ink, watercolours, acrylics, clay paper mache and much more.
Class activities are age appropriate and include a mix of theory, group activities, hands on practice, art history/learning about famous artists and their artworks all while developing your child’s confidence, skills, imagination and creative thinking.
The skills and techniques taught in our after school Art Essential term classes are designed to give students the ability and confidence to independently tackle almost any creative project successfully and safely and the opportunity to participate in community art events in the town.
Art Essentials Term Classes run for Eight Weeks during the school term.
